Apple Fries with Dip

There’s nothing quite like sinking your teeth into a fresh fry — apple fry that is!

Now, we know that it is summer, and a lot of you are working on cleaning up your eating and getting your “swimsuit bodies” ready.

But remember, a “swimsuit body” is a body with a swimsuit on it! You are already enough. You are summer ready! Why? Because it is summer! You don’t have to change the way your body looks before you can show it off with all the fire, passion, and sass that you have inside of you.

Your body shape has absolutely NOTHING to do with your worthiness or value ANY time of the year. So throw on that swimsuit and show off everything you’ve got — today, tomorrow, and always. You are enough.

That being said, if you are trying to find some nutritious and delicious alternatives for some favorite foods (like french fries), we think you will like this one here.

Our apple fries and dip hold all of the charm of french fries and none of the grease or salt. And it is a fun way to shake up your normal apple diet.

Summer is gorgeous for a lot of reasons, and apples are one of them! For this recipe, we like to use honeycrisp. They are firm and more tart than gala but sweeter than pink lady or granny smith. Ultimately, it really doesn’t matter.

We like to use a crinkle cutter (Press here for direct link) to make the apples look like crinkle french fries. Sometimes just changing the shape of your normal food can add fun spice to what your eating — sans spices!

For the dip, just combine a healthy portion of vanilla greek yogurt to some peanut butter. We recommend going with something like Adam’s instead of Jiff or Skippy. If you go with brands that only use peanuts, you don’t have do deal with all the processed sugars of other brands. Besides, the greek yogurt will give you enough to satisfy that sweet tooth.

Now go soak up some vitamin D and enjoy the summer sun!

Eat apple per day is good for health. I much like the vanilla flavor. Apart from peanut is also good for health. Definitely I make the dish and enjoy the taste.
